About Grateful Drift
Our Story
Grateful Drift was created by a local small business owner who simply loves the water. After spending countless peaceful days cruising the bays of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, we discovered how grounding, joyful, and healing it feels to drift under the sun. Those quiet moments of calm, color, and connection inspired us to share that experience with others — and that’s how Grateful Drift was born. A local business built on good vibes, coastal gratitude, and the belief that life truly feels lighter on the water.

Why We Started
What began as personal escapes on the Intracoastal Waterway quickly became a passion for helping others slow down, unplug, and reconnect with what matters most. We wanted to create a rental experience that wasn’t rushed, stressful, or ordinary — but something fun, vibrant, heartfelt, and unforgettable. That’s why we chose a tie-dye theme: it represents freedom, joy, good vibes, and seeing life in full color.

The Grateful Drift Experience
We operate a brand-new 2025 Bennington 22 SSB, powered by a smooth Yamaha 150 with roomy, comfortable seating for up to 10 guests. Your day on the water should feel effortless — so we provide everything you need, from safety gear to a full tank of fuel, plus a quick orientation so you can cruise confidently. Whether you’re dolphin watching, drifting into a sunset, celebrating with friends, or enjoying a family day on the water, we’re here to make it memorable.
Our Mission
At Grateful Drift, our mission is simple:
Help you create meaningful moments on the Alabama Gulf Coast.
We believe in good energy, simple joys, and gratitude for every day on the water. When you step onto our tie-dye pontoon, you’re not just renting a boat — you're stepping into a day filled with laughter, connection, and memories that last.
